I own 2 of these. My ATI 4850 gives fits on reboot with the rotating portion of the monitor. Normal display it works fine, 1050x1680 it tends to 'forget' it and I have I have to reconfigure it.
beyond that these things are absolutely gorgeous to look at. Very crisp and clear picture, I'd buy more but I'd need another video card and I'm not springing for that

costco has a monitor similar to this (same size and resolution including the USB hub) BUT it was brand new (NOT a refurb) by "Honeywell" (yep, you read that right) in store for this same price. Just saw it this afternoon but haven't researched it yet. It had a nice base that was height adjustable too.

Why oh why not make a monitor with straight 1080 resolution so that HD video does not need to be rescaled?

good luck on getting this from mwave.
They have wrong description on their website. The monitor actually come with VGA and DVI. YES DVI not HDMI. They will tell you this is all they have, either refund or take it.
