I would not trust this... I bought one once and it turned out that it did not fit standard 2.5" drives (though it claimed to) as the height on the enclosure was not enough. Apparantly it only worked for some brands which happened to have a smaller height.

it could be that your drive has not been properly formatted. can you see an unitiated disk when you get into the disk management console?

it's cheap for a 2.5" enclosure, but imo i'd rather get the 3.5", i mean this drive isn't one you're going to be carrying around anyways so why bother?
it's still on sale for $7 so i'm guessing the coupon code doesn't work any more.
