Nice mini laptop but short battery life, if you want longer battery life get the Samsung NC10.

Definitely pick up the NC10 if battery life is your main concern with a netbook. Actually the NC10 is good in many many categories. The lenovo does seem to be a fairly well built machine!

also, regular price here so nothing special.

Wish we could get this with Linux and an SSD. These seem like the sturdiest of the ones I've seen.

Sure it's a Lenovo, but they really skimped on the features. I still think the MSI Wind offers the most for the price.

    not enough RAM. Skip.

#6, if you're concerned about RAM, skip all netbooks unless you like Linux. Google around. MS put a 1GB RAM and 160GB (originally 80GB) hard drive limit.

i have this-love it. got it for 300$ on 15% off w/ paypal day and cash back. I had an extra 1GB stick and put it in for 1.5GB. Battery life for reading pdf's on a plane was about 3:20.

will def buy 6 cell battery at some point thbaconhat's my only concern...

#6 put 2gb of RAM in for $20. It takes about 60 seconds.

#8 I agree, I am more than pleased with mine.

I don't think these Lenovo S10's have Bluetooth.

#13 they don't come with bluetooth but easily added for about $20.
