My nephew has this, and likes it. I used it on vaca., but still like my Canon SD1100 a little better, albeit 50 bucks more. IMO the display, as well as the IS on the Canon is better.

I just got this from Wifey for Xmas. takes good photos but it a little timeconsuming to get to different scene modes. Also there are NO manual modes AT ALL. I was very disappointed in that missing but the ease of use, good display size, AA battery usage, and small form factor mean it's a keeper for me. Sam's Club in my area also had them for $89 recently. FYI.

how long do the AA batteries last? Are you using rechargeables?

use NiMh AA rechargeable battery, they last very long, use 2 sets of new batteries and one set of spare, can be last all day long, hundreds of pictures and hours of video. very easy to use, good for the price
