Bought an ILO a few years back from Walmart.
Supposedly a Tatung panel. Good viewing angles and no dead pixels. Anyone have any clues on these TV's?

this seems a little expensive. is this really a good deal?

Bad deal. Can get a Sharp or Toshiba in this size for less and it isn't so bulky either.

Wow, horrible deal. A good 32" TV can now be readily found for $400, then a good DVD player is what, $80 max?

Why 720p when you can get 1080p at a pretty decent price now.

what is 720
this tv sucks,
I recommend you go into a store and see the quality of this tv in person.

1080 is a larger number than 720, so i'd just go with that.

Contrast is very important and 1000:1 sucks.

At least 5000:1 to if you want to be blown away by the picture.

Plasmas and top end LCD's are pushing 30,000:1

Next generation OLED's are sitting at 1,000,000:1

Go to any store displaying LCD's and find the one with the best picture. I guarantee it's not the one with 1000:1 contrast!

why? why does he post things like this? what a terrible "deal"

This has gotten terrible reviews, mainly because of the DVD player. Most recommend that if you are interested in the Insignia 32" LCD that you get the model without the player for $480 and get a standalone DVD machine instead of this item.

It's funny to read all the comments about resolution from people who obviously know nothing about it. I doubt some of them can even count to 1080.

Low resolution + high price = Ben, what were you thinking?
