Just configured one on Dell and it came up to $1254.
And Dell does not offer RED.

Also, I'd buy a refurb dell, ain't nothin wrong with that. You can get the 1530 with a blu-ray drive for under 1000.

You can also get the Inspiron 1318 instead - cheaper materials but same form factor. If you wait for the 1318 to show up on Dell Outlet you can probably pay around $500-$600 for similar config.
