Great System. Lowest Price Ever for New One.

Cons: Battery Life. No more than 2 hrs on Full Charge.
Need to Call Tech Support if can't get (one time)Lastest Map online.
Somewhat bulky compare to other wide-screen GPSs.

Lots of Features including Bluetooth for Handsfree Cellphone.

LAME windshield mount! unlike the mio or the garmin nuvi(which have a lever to make them stick) the tom tom has a flimsy suction cup that you just press as hard as you can, then hope in vain that it will not fall off(it will)

I got the $80 SONY U44 a week ago, and it's GREAT. Gets the satellites before I even have the chance to get through the initial screen, takes 10secs to calculate the route, is responsive and gets the route right (although it does have a tendency to 'push' for highways even when a local roads would do just fine). There are minor quibbles, but for $80...

Yep this is the older designed suction cup which is a pain to keep it on. If you even have the slightest spec of dirt on the windshield it will fall off. The newer designed TomToms have a knob you turn to get it to stick, a much better design. I wish they offered an updated version to older GPS units.

Map Update is $100. New Owners get 1-time free Latest map. MapShare Updates and Custom POIs are free.

Set up TomTom Home and Find the Latest Map Guarantee on the Menu Bar. I think it's under "Tools" or something.
