Everything 50% - 75% off at Linens n ThingsLinens n Things seems to be in the final throes of their Chapter 11 journey. All items are now 50% - 75% off, plus free shipping on select items. The caveat here is that there are no returns since they are going ka-put.

Most of the pages are empty. I only saw 5 of 6 items altogether.

It looks like they are already out of business, shelves are empty.

50-75% off of a Linens and Things list price puts it roughly the same as everyone else's 20% off sales - and the latter will still be around to return it to as necessary....

Any fabric store that could be abbreviated with the word "LiNT" probably deserves to go out of business....

    So whose next?
I suspect that Sears aka Kmart will fold as will World Market - Cost Plus, maybe Borders and if Best Buy sales don't improve they could become fodder to WalMart later in 2009. Also on my list of possibles is Kohl's, Anna's Linens and Pier 1 Imports.
    Any other ideas?
