Good memory and I've always gotten my Corsair rebates. Almost giving it away at these prices. Only downside is that they are only 1GB sticks. With RAM so cheap there is very little reason not to have 4GB in your machine and 4x1GB doesn't always work so well depending on my motherboard.

I do not need more 1GB sticks but the real killer for me is that the $45 is on a debit card. I find it difficult to use these cards since they claim to use them as credit cards but even WalMart has issues making them work properly. But it is a great deal if you need 1GB sticks and Newegg rocks!

I didn't notice that it's not just a rebate check. That puts an extra level of annoyance on the deal but it's still dirt cheap for memory if you can get the rebate card to work.

Unless you have a 64bit system, you can only use up to 3GB anyways. Haven't seen a deal for 1.5 GB DDR2 Memory yet.

WHY DOES MY OLD SYSTEM COST $150 for 2GB STILL???

I have some of these on another system. Works well.
