i ordered ram from newegg last spring. within 24 hours the price dropped $5. i talked ("live chat") with a newegg rep, and they said it wasn't their policy, but that they would do it. they probably say that to everybody to keep people grateful (i was) and not demanding it like an entitlement.

no, newegg will not price-adjust if an item has been shipped. if you can get price adjusted, then you must have been blessed by the lord.

Limit of two at this price.

#1 - Go to Contact and use Live Chat to ask for a price adjustment. The reps at Chat usually are good in adjusting prices or waiving shipping charges. Do not attempt to refuse the package as now Newegg.com is using DHL SmartPost to deliver the package. Refusing the package could take six weeks to get it back to Newegg.com (I am talking about a personal experience with UPS Mail Innovation). If the price adjustment would not work, I would simply put on the stamps and mail it back.
