Plastic Jungle is offering gift cards up to 25% off face value. Savings include 9% off Sears, 8% off Lowes, 7% off Home Depot, 7% off Macys, and 11% off PacSun gift cards.
Gift cards purchased at discount can be used to buy stuff online or in store on top of advertised sales. For example, if you buy an item online using a gift card purchased at 10% off face value and apply a 10% discount code at checkout, that's 20% off the original price. That's a deal.
#10, I believe what #5 is trying to say is that the gift card is like a cash transaction. So on top of this transaction, you can use their commonly seen 10% coupons....thus it is like 10% off + 10% off = 20% off (though in reality if you take 10% off, and then an additional 10% after that it is more like a total discount of 19%). Not bad...I'm in, gift cards work like cash.
When I go to the bathroom I crap out 10% off. How is this a deal?
when did they start putting SEARS stuff on Ben's ? First time I've seen this.NOT!
If you only crap 10% you must be pretty plugged up #1.
A good fontaine cheese or some prunes would work wonders for #1

#5's math = FAIL
So would an auger from the Sears hardware department.
But is this taxable? This isn't a deal if you are paying tax on the gift card + tax on the item you are ordering.
I have not bought a gift card that was taxed. That would be double taxation, and we all know the government would not want to tax us twice.
#5, so if I have 10 10% off coupons, it would be free right?
