I bought this monitor. But it was just to big.

I downgraded to the 2709. I got the 2709 also refurbished for $649.

Not a bad deal. I think the picture quality is a lot better on the 2709 and not to mention the better connection options. The 2709 only has one type of connection.

You can also get the Gateway 30" right now that has the best specs I've ever seen on a monitor for just $949.

Your call.

too much for a monitor. But it is worth if you spend 8 hrs/day on it.

Correction* The 3007 ONLY has ONE type of connection. The 2709 has em all!!!

I am gonna wait on this stuff now. LED backlight, 120 hz, all this technology is being implemented now which means lower prices on this stuff and better equipment in the future. 750 is just still too high. But don't get me wrong this is a really nice monitor. drool.

I think 120hz doesn't really mean much unless you want to watch movies on your monitor as well.

i somehow refuse to believe there is such a thing as, "too big" when it comes to monitors ... but I could be wrong

This is about what my 24" Dell cost at the time, brand new, but as an upgrade with a system. As a designer it was certainly worth it. Even at 24" I need a second monitor. At some point I'll probably go to 30", and bump the 21", or see how three screens treats me.
