This looks like a great deal specially since the lens is by Carl Zeiss. If I had any cash to spend I would definitely go for it.

I think the DSC-W150 same camera w/ less MP @ $135 shipped form Sony Style a few weeks ago was a much better deal.

Carl Zeiss, I have never heard of the guy. Crazy Carl.

I agree with #2, the W150 has pretty much the same features as this with only 8.1MP. I dont think 10.1MP makes a lot of difference with a compact point-and-shoot camera.

Do not buy this camera. I have the W-150, and the W-170 is the same except with a higher megapixel count. Both take crappy pictures (I checked out the W-170 at a brick & mortar). Too many megapixels crammed into too small a sensor (1/1.25). Don't take my word for it; test it yourself. Take a picture and zoom in on a small area. You'll see blotches of color, severe graininess, lost of definition, all sorts of problems. I have two older 5-megapixel cameras that take way better pictures.

#5 nice to know you are helping the economy and buying. Keep it up.
