I've had horrible luck with sony cameras. I'd avoid this even if it was new.

I have the dsc-h3 and love it. I rarely use my DSLR as I just don't want to lug it around. This uses the same battery as many smaller format sonys including the dsc-w80. This allows one to flip-flop batteries which is nice. This is a good price assuming you get the year warrenty. Buy it Jay.

sony makes fantastic cameras but they shoot themselves in the leg with their proprietary cable and memory stick unlike canon
