    yes, you can run your verizon broadband cd and ms word - using WINE, its seamless.

    #6 just use "OpenOffice" (instead of 'Word') which comes with Linux-Ubuntu & is compatible w/MS Office...Verizon Broadband should run fine too.

    Keyboard is too small for touch-typing. Easy to accidentally move the cursor with the trackpad. Otherwise, it's a decent machine.

    Wait, aren't you supposed to be able to move the cursor with the trackpad? Isn't that what the trackpad is for?

    yeah definitely not worth it at this price... eee is much better for price.
