reviews are only OK. cnet says there are some lens distortions and the menu system is a little overly complicated for what it should be (e takes too many button clicks).

I love both the coolpix cameras my family has.

bought this for my daughter( age 13) at Christmas. She loves it. the face recognition stuff is complicated to set up and use. but, my daughter just ignores this feature and uses all others. very durable camera and uses inexpensive SDHC cards.

I have this one for 6 months now
