Seems tempting until you read the fine print on each gift certificate - such as valid on purchases of $50, $150, lunch etc.

I'm gonna try it. There's a good restaurant near me. I paid $3 for the certificate which will get me $25 off a meal of $50 or more (which is easy since my family is 3 people). Can't use on Fridays or Saturdays, but otherwise, I don't see a downside.
