Does anybody know anything more about this claim Asus is making "2nd Generation 55nm GPU Solution". Sounds like the Asus team mixed up the Nvidia marketing boo-haw, and put it to their ATI product line. I see no other mention of that for any discussion regarding ATI chips.

#1, it's a vague reference to their use of 1st-gen 55nm for 3xxx series ATI cards, just same technological progress as always, used by their marketing dept. to promote the fact that it has higher performance per watt, significantly so due to the improved power management when idle vs last-gen parts.
