got one on a k9a2 platinum, ran nicely even w/ early bios.
3.7 at 1.46V using lapped true (200 x 18.5), 12hrs prime 95 stable. memory overclocks aren't anywhere near as stable as changing the multi.
lots of people have been able to go to 3.5 to 3.6 on 1.35 (ie-stock!) volts
great dropin for am2+ boards

Good for upgrading an AMD AM2/AM2+ system. Go i7 for new build if you have the money.

agreed. if i were building an all new system instead, probably would have gotten a q9550 for a little more, that'll give you a good shot at 4.0, and even at 3.7-3.8 will be faster than this.
