Funny. I thought that the 15 tulips would come with tulips, not roses.

FYI, ProFlowers delivers the flowers in the box... it's unarranged... so if you try to impress your gf's or wife's co-workers in the office... this is not the company to choose. I used them a few times... but now i stopped.

when i used them they signed me up for some bullshit company that withdrew 15 bucks a month for about 9 months till i caught on to it, if you run a search on them you'll find this happens to thousands of people that shop from them.

#6 you have to be an idiot if you agree to signing up with the other companies. The site says "free shipping" but you only get it if you agree to join a third party company which charges after a free trial.

I've used pro-flowers a few times and they are fine.

#2 is correct about them arriving in a box. but I'm tired of paying extortionate prices from local florists for a poor product. How hard is it to take out roses and put them in a vase. It's not like it has dozens of different flowers that need to be arranged to show them at their best.

Isn't Proflowers owned by Liberty Media now? I think that they own ProFlowers, QVC and several other on-line retailers. The scam with Valentine's (unless you have been married for about 10+ years) is it is all about the show. You have to send them to the office, they have to be arranged and they have to look good so when all of the other chicks at the office see them the stuff that you sent looks the same or better than the stuff everyone sent. Flowers in the box kill that effect. Plus, I don't know that I would rant and rave about Proflowers quality over that of a decent florist. Most florists, if they are a decent size, are getting their product straight from the farm just like Proflowers claims they do. Unless they claim that they are growing the flowers domestically everything that comes into the US sits in customs for a day or two then it gets put on UPS or FedEx trucks. Proflowers is not different. So the freshness is debatable. If you want fresh just buy a couple of rose bushes from the local nursury. Give her those. Plant them in the yard. Roses forever plus you are now doing the "green" responsible Valentine's suck-up.

Hit or miss with them. They have gone downhill.

Here's the real question: can anyone recommend somewhere that's reliably decent?
