too bad this does not have esata. it seems a shame to use the slower usb connection for a new sata drive. I do not know why it costs so much more for that feature.

Has anyone tried this as a DVR expansion HD? I have Dish Network and am looking for additional capacity. I suppose I could search Dish info, but just wanted to see if this model works.
