I've had mine for almost 2 years.
No issues at all!
I easily deleted the U3 (IMO useless) software.
No cap to lose and the retractable mechanism works perfectly.
However, the transfer rate is not the fastest.

This one may not work with Vista, so be sure to toss out that brand new vista computer and buy a newer one with Windows 7 on it.

This thing can survive a washer and a dryer. I think it has a pretty high reliability.
