I bought 1 from eBay some time ago. It worked great for my Logitech mouse and the range is pretty good. It works perpectly with Vista's built-in driver.

Not a slam and I don't have any personal experience but check the reseller ratings on this vendor.

It's actually $2.69 /w free ship.
Shipping took a bit longer than most HK shippers.
#1, this is worth the extra 20 pennies.

Although, does it have EDR? That could be an issue.
Also, if it uses BlueSoleil, which it probably does, the included version would probably be out of date. "Acquire" the latest version at your favorite torrent site.

I have two of these that I got from another source for about the same price. I have been able to send data from my computer running Vista to my Nokia phone, but Vista tells me it is looking for a driver. Any one have any clues? Chipset is Cambridge Silicon if I recall correctly.

Bought similar one from DealExtreme.com a while ago, it installed just fine in Windows Vista with default driver. I do not find much use to it, though! This site looks a lot similar to DealExtreme. Might be the same company.

#12, we frequenters are obviously "unobtrusive."
We only do Sophisticated Jokes now. NO Crude Bullsh*t here!
My Vista OS(SP1) automatically located the CSR drivers. Fire up your coffee pot, might take awhile for the search. Keep at it! xD

Make sure it comes with drivers.
I bought the DXtreme one. Came with no
drivers. baconuilt-in driver does almost nothing.
You'll need real drivers.

"To install a Bluetooth device, you only have to connect it. Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) includes drivers for many Bluetooth devices. If Windows does not recognize a Bluetooth device, you can still use it by using the generic software support that Windows includes, or you can use the driver that the device manufacturer provides. To add a Bluetooth device to your computer, you can use the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard. To configure a Bluetooth connection, you use the Bluetooth Devices item in Control Panel."
