most people (i'm included) don't need an HDTV tuner built-in to the TV. I never used it as I have my HD cable box. I feel that it's useless to buy a TV (monitor?) with the tuner built-in. Sure, it's convenient to have the tuner but more than 1/2 the time, you don't need it.

good price for what it is.
if you have cable or satellite you don't need the tuner anyway. just a waste of money.
I paid $1500 + tax for my 42" back in mid 2006 and it was a killer price back then.
WARNING: if you have CoolSat 6000 (or possibly any CoolSat) satellite receivers DO NOT GET THIS!
The Westy TV and Coolsat boxes share the same IR codes so when you push buttons on the Coolsat remotes to do things like switch channels the TV would do things like switch input or turn on/off.
I got both and I have to put a box in front of my TV IR receiver to keep it from doing things when I use my Coolsat remote

Westinghouse is a sad company with almost 100 unanswered BBB complaints, including mine. Fortunately Amex refunded my money from them or else I would be out a TV and my money...because I sent it in for repairs August 2008 and they still have it.
Spend a few extra bucks so you don't get pushed over a table and screwed completely.

Westinghouse Digital Electronics is owned by the Chinese OEM Chi Mei Optoelectronics corp. They don't care about customer service as their main business partners are large computer makers such as DELL, Lenovo.
