Get ready to get nickeled and dimed buying the codecs. And the volume doesn't go high enough on this thing, with no fix available. Lousy company with a terrible business policy. Avoid.

My 604 just died last week (plugging it into the dock killed it).

And they lock the drives so you can't upgrade them yourself.
The Archos hardware is so-so, but the firmware is bordering on Coby-level sh!ttiness.
