Just buy a cheap drive and not worry about this.

Nice box to stuff your old notebook drive into when you upgrade your laptop with a bigger drive. The double-plug usb cable is odd, but necessary to supply power without an adapter.

The reviews for this site are mixed, to say the least. Has anyone bought from them and will report their opinion of the site and/or merchandise?
I acquired a 2.5" IDE drive free, and would like to put it into a CHEAP enclosure like this one, but don't want to have a bad experience or waste hard-warned money.

#3 - I've bought few thingies from Shop3tech in last couple of months, no problems.
BTW, I'm also using this very enclosure, bought about a year ago. Small, simple, and easy. The only thing is I had to put small piece of rubber inside to keep the drive from moving slightly inside the enclosure.
