AOE2 is a very good game.
I occasionally still play it.
By comparison AOE3 really sucks. AOE3 has good graphics and lousy game play.

AOE is one of the best games ever! Yeah, I agree with NS that AOE3 sucks. So does Age of Mythology.

AoM was very good, in fact I'd say it was a bit better than AoE2. Aoe3 was a big let down, however.

I've "heard" that the guy who wrote these married a gal toward the end of his writing AOE. And I've "heard" that she was freakin' nuts. Maybe that's why later versions sucked. Too much home drama.
