Love the Ryobi system. The circular saw actually works well on battery power.

Ryobi is great, but if you can, just hold out til black friday. They ALWAYS get better then and they're brand new. By the way, the lithium batteries are awesome!

Owned a Ryobi combo, total shit, go with Craftsman, their products just keep on going and are frikin powerful, haven't had any issues and the NIMH batteries just don't die.

I have had this set for around 5 years and it is adequate for homeowner use. The only problem I have with the tools is the drills keyless chuck can sometimes slip on smaller bits. I get 2 - 3 years out of the batteries. Two packs of batteries run $50 so no big deal. Yes there are better cordless sets out there for a price. I will probably go with one of Ryobi's new Lithium Ion sets in the near future since it is interchangeable with what I already have. I hear Rigid has a lifetime warranty that also covers the batteries so would be worth the premium if true. Both Ryobi and Rigid are at Home Depot.

I have a few Ryobi tools. Great for homeowners. There's no need to drop major $$$ if you aren't gonna use the tools a lot. e daily on the construction site.
