At first I thought it recharged via USB and was otherwise wireless but it looks like this is a regular ol' USB mini-mouse with a fancy light show.
I wish I could find a USB recharging wireless mouse. Most require batteries that won't recharge.

#1 - Targus makes a wireless-usb-rechargeable mouse:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000B7CLO0?ie=UTF8&tag=iaw-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=B000B7CLO0
It works wirelessly, but if the battery is dead, you have to charge via a USB cable - you still have to have the wireless receiver plugged in while charging.
They really should have made the receiver smaller (dockable in mouse) and/or made it a USB passthrough (to use only one port).
Other than those quibbles, I've been very pleased with mine.
