Got em for $50 AR a year ago.

Am-A-Zon has a sale on Logitech this week... the G51s are about $140, and the Z-5500 set is $300 (though it was as low as $145 before criss-crossmass)

does it have strong tight bass?

DON'T FALL FOR IT~! I bought the G51 model speaker from Logitech 5 months ago and i NEVER GOT THE $50 REBATE FROM THEM~! One of my friend have the same problem~

I got all my 5 or 6 Logitech rebates in about 6 wks from the mailing time.

Not bad but unless you live in a refrigerator box the wires will get in the way because they are never long enough or crap. The 200watt 2.1 ones are titties and are more accurate with much better dbl clarity. Dont be a joe_knownooneatall he is obviously a little Limited.
