Gonna agree with #1, it's a $55-$60 camera at best.
A few silly coworkers each bought one when they were on sale and were going gaga over it, i tried talking some of them out of purchasing but they just kept buying them because they liked it's price and the way it looked.
It takes some pretty bad pictures even for a budget camera, i know this because i was dowloading all of their pics for them showing them how to do it. I tweaked a bunch of the camera's settings trying to make some improvements, didn't make much difference, the picture color was very flat and objects weren't crispy sharp. Indoors or outdoors didn't make a difference although i will admit the indoor pictures could have been a lot worse (it didn't have too many of those purple pixels you get in low lighting conditions).
If you're in the market for a cheap camera, bump your budget another $20 and you can get something much better, like an entry level Canon etc. For professional info on consumer and prosumer cameras head over to: http://www.steves-digicams.com/
