It wasn't that long ago (maybe 3 yrs) that I bought this unit for close to $700. It sure pays for those that are patient.

I have this unit ( bought Dec 2008) and it has a nice set of features at a great price.

it's not a good deal though.

Good GPS, so-so deal

It's a nice unit - I had a couple 360's. I guess for text-to-speech and basic functionality otherwise, it's a decent device even today. No experience with refurb'd Garmins, myself. For just over $100 bucks for a good basic unit, it has worse competition.

Hopefully they replace those internal batteries during the refurb process...

Can it tell you how to drive from the US or Canada to Puerto Rico?

Anybody know what kind of warranty this carries?

Nice price, I got two of the Nuvi 200. Works nice, I'am happy. bought it in Nov 2007 got the 2008 maps. Funny!. Garmin charge 75.00 for new maps every year. So, just throw you old GPS alway and buy this one. come's with 2009 maps,Text To Speach, Canada and Puerto Rico maps aslo witch my Nuvi 200 don't have.. #8 I think is One year Warrantee, sometime refurbished products come's only 90 days. always read the fine print..

My friend got this from amazon for $250 one year ago. Good deal!
