UP to 8 x 10'? How many rooms does one plan to spend enough time in that they'd need an air purifier if it's less than 8x10? I suppose if your family makes you live in a closet it's a factor.

I use one. My allergies go nuts, and this keeps the dust down to a minimum. I have mine programmed to run for 4 hours every night.
