You'd be getting taxed elsewhere as well.

Sweet! My 10 year old daughter saved enough money to get a DS Lite at Buy.com with a $15 off coupon. She finally saved enough money on March 2nd, only to find the coupon expired Feb 28.
$111.27 after tax for me.

This isn't a drop in price, this is a dell coupon.
Yes, the new DSi has been announced (and released in Japan) but it will be releasing at a much higher price ($179) and will not affect the DS's price in the near future.
By "not be able to use your old games" .. yep, there is no Game Boy Advance slot on the DSi, which makes it a baconbreaker for me.
Hackers are reporting that the DSi supports a much higher clock speed by default, so there may be some awesome games that come out for only it later.
And yes, gamestop will probably have a deal for your DS lite just like they did for your DS, but gamestop will screw you every time. Sell it on ebay.

The DSi will not allow you to use flash cards to play games from what I've been hearing. That is one of the main reason Nintendo is coming out with it. Stick with the DS lite if you like your flash card
