I agree - I picked one up a few months ago for around $15 from eforcity. It has come in handy several times. Great thing to have around.
It works for 3.5 IDE, 2.5 IDE, and SATA (I have had to take a look into all three types of drives since I got it!)

How is the quality of the black power supply brick? I bought one of these from another vendor and it blew up. Exchanged for a new one and it blew up a second time (plugged into a different hard drive - so its not the drive at fault).

Ordered one last night I have like 20 old hard drives laying around. The code wouldn't work through google checkout but did with paypal.

Other reviews give this 4 or even 5 stars - I don't think I got the same item they did.
Tried to connect the Molex/SATA converter and the pins fell out of the connector. I had to research the pinouts for Molex and SATA to bypass the connector. On top of that, the AC adapter and cable have a loose fit; the cable kept falling out and disconnecting my drive.
All in all, this thing is a piece of junk that stopped functioning after about an hour of trying to use it.
