Buyer beware, it has slow transfer speeds over the network. It says gigabyte speeds but I could only acheive 16-17 MBps.And yes I have a gigabyte network.
If you check the forums or reviews on newegg people will report the same problem.

Thanks #2. I was just about to buy it until I read your post. The whole point of this thing for me was the gigabit speed over LAN. Thanks for saving me some $$, time, and disappointment.
