Games suck. Games with too much graphics lag the console. Too big of an MP3 player. Hassle to convert videos to MP4. Most expensive memory sticks out there. I would pay $50 for it.

no good for homebrew. Friend ordered one from Dell and the 2000 Series Dell sell has the new version board which block any kind of homebrew...

The PSP 2000 is a significant improvement over the PSP 1000. However, it still suffers from a lack of games (stereotypical criticism of a game console, but true).
Might be worth it to wait and see if a PSP2 comes out (as it is rumored to not use UMD format)?

The older slim PSPs can be hacked with pandora. Just not the newer ones with the newer motherboards.
