That photo is a LIE, the puck is as big as the mouse, and it needs line-of-sight to work!!! So much for RF goodness.

Well it doesn't need line of sight, but it has to be pretty darn close to the mouse to work. Your not going to be using this from across the room or anything.
Plus I've found that some pucks don't want to work with MS wireless equipment that wasn't sold with it.
so if you want to add a wireless keyboard later. You may have to have another puck in order for it to work, even if the keyboard is 5k or 6k series.

What did you expect for $15? Any name-brand wireless laser mouse is a deal still, but as always paying more has it's purpose.

I've had this mouse for awhile and it's a good basic mouse for a business desktop. Puck is so Y2K, but it works and you can have your desktop sitting on the floor and bring the sensor up to the surface... Probably paid $40 for it back then.
