How do things like this work with evolving codecs and formats? Would you trust a company like MediaMate to keep updated with firmware upgrades?

you can get similar systems on ebay for much less. if you have a PS3 or a 360, all you really need is a Passport/Flash drive, and you get the same thing as this. Heck, you don't even need the other hard drive if you have your system networked to your computer.

It supports vob playback, but not iso.
