I don't know why people should believe that the price should be cheaper? How much cheaper can this get? $150 is pretty cheap IMO. I remember getting an SD450 for $250 and thinking that was "cheap". This camera is far better with a larger LCD and Image Stabilization. It's a terrific buy.

This camera makes people look better in the pictures than they do in real life. Sign of a great camera since this is due to the ability of the camera to adapt to different lighting--hence studio shoots with photographers with $2000 cameras and $1000 lenses making people look great.
Anyway, Canons are by far the best.
