I got a 1 TB Seagate drive about a month ago suggested by Ben I think, and it has been pretty good....most of the time. Several times the computer has failed to recognize the existance of the drive....I am using Windows 7 though.

I got this a couple of months ago ($169), runs fine. While no one gets true gigabit speeds, make sure you don't have a 10/100 jack or swtich in the middle to bottle neck the speeds. The other main point is to not install any of the included management software, seems there are lots of issues with it.
