You can fit a couple hundred full DVD (movie) ISOs on one of these. Add a D-Link 321 NAS and an old XBOX with XBMC and you have a high-def (1080i) movie jukebox for about $250

The reviews are bad. Also I had the Seagate 750Gb 7200.11 series drive - problems. Love how they denied the problem at first.

To bad these FreeAgent HD's have a horrible track record. Not going to waste $100 on a HD that will most likely loose my data. Sad Come on Seagate, get your act together!!

a lot of the bad reviews are also dated March 2009, this month. So Seagate still have not fixed their problems. Not worth losing 1.5 TB of your data to save $20.

Beware like the plague, according to the many reviewers on Newegg -
45 % bad reviews data 1 egg, other negatives also noted. maybe they should just give these away with Cracker Jack(r).

#5, how do you loose data? Is it easier than to lose data?

If you are willing to take the chance with this infamous drive, TD sells this for $112 shipped. With 12% live cash back it should be cheaper than this deal.
