I have to agree with #1, even with an adapter it will not power devices that require more juice.

I got one of these on accident. I ordered something else, the company that shipped it refused to pay for me to send it back, so I kept it. Mine works just fine but the lights are VERY obnoxious. The one in the middle flashes. I keep mine upside-down because my co-workers kept wandering over to gawk at it.
