Why is that - it says 'unlocked', and in the ad it says:
Simply place your phones Sim Card (AT&T, Cingular, T-Mobile or any Sim Card) in the Air Card slot and insert the unit into your PCMCIA port
Shouldn't it work w/any sim card?

I got one of this six month ago from this site. Yes it is unlock to use for any phone carrier. In order to use this you have to have data service. I have Iphone data service, it does not work. Don't buy this if you don't have data service.
