I recently purchased an Ab Rocket for about $135. What a TOTAL ripoff to me and the public. I just want to warn everyone about this bogus piece of crap! I weigh 250 & 6ft. When I put the tension springs on the most difficult, and sat on the unit, all I did was fall back to the carpet. It did NOTHING to help me go forward in any way, as I had had with another product called the AB Roller, which was very clever in the fact that it was like a rocking chair, to allow me to rock back and forth making it easy to do crunches, et al, many years ago. The tension springs, of the AB Rocket, do NOT handle, obviously, anyone over maybe 150 to 200 lbs. We are the people that need to exercise more and to get totally scammed by this product is, to me, totally dispicable, to believe. Nothing in their advertisements, as I could see, unless it was that TINY print that is always present with these kind of products that NO ONE can possibly read, even with a magnifying glass and even if you had that, the script flashes SO fast that you would have to have had a course in speed reading! As I saw this product and the way they presented it, I thought it would be a new version of the AB Roller, which I had for many years and it absolutly worked and I totally enjoyed using it. The AB Rocket is SO bogus in its presentation, that it is SO easy to use. BULLCRAP! When I sit on it and I go on my back and there is NOTHING, NO tension to help me go forward and I have to totally rely on my ability to go forward, WHAT is the difference with THAT situation and me doing a simple situp without the unit!? I just pissed away about $135 for a product that is totally useless. I personally JUST WANT TO WARN EVERYONE FROM ORDERING THIS PIECE OF TOTAL BOGUS PIECE OF GARBAGE.

I bet this has been killing fat ass right wingers trying to fit in with all those lefties that bother them so. Why does god give them such pretty girlfriends?, just cuz they can talk to um and such I reckon. Your silly world is coming apart and all you can do is blame the people who helped you do it.

WTF? Did the asylum get too crowded and have to release a few this morning? At least they gave out some complimentary drugs.

if you are a fat person, an ab trainer won't help you anyways unless you do 1000 crunches a day. You can't see abs under a belly. Try doing some cardio....then worry about your abs.

crunches/sit ups won't help whoever has belly fat. need to loose that first.

#9 and #10, not nearly true, if you work out your abs it will greatly decrease the fat in your stomach area, and would give you a much faster process from fat to 6-pack

It will make a great beer bong chair? Put some air shocks on it.

#11, increasing muscle to an area does not mean it will specifically decrease fat in that same area. However, one sure way to increase your metabolism is to incease your muscle mass. Muscle requires energy simply to exist. It burns calories 24 hours a day. So if you build up your abs, or any other muscle(s), the new muscle will burn fat. Working on larger muscle groups, such as quads, will be more effective in burning fat than focusing on abs. Because of how stomach fat accumulates, especially on men, it is the hardest to get rid of. Best to get on those crunches before you get a jelly roll. This device, however, is only optimal for building the upper abs, and designed for those needing assistance in crunching, for whom #5 has so eloquently shown it is inadequate for. To sum up: It's crap.

you need less than 10% body fat to see your abdominal muscles.. doing crunches wont do anything for you fatties.

Hell, who needs a 6-pack when you already have a keg.
