I got my N52 for about $20. It's still going strong, but I like the feel of the buttons on this one - just need the price to come down a bit more...

To be honest, it looks terrifying. Why would you want to become dependent upon a piece of hardware. As it is, I attempt to game with a touch pad and builtin keyboard on a laptop whenever I can, just so I know that I'll be able to game on any rig.
