I have an iPod nano 4th gen and HATE iTunes.
Now I use the iPod plugin for Winamp (which I use daily anyway). It was actually pretty easy to setup and the new Winamp makes it a breeze to organize, search, download covers, etc.
Here's the link for the plugin:

Do ANY of you "ghetto dogs" use the extended buyers protection programs on your credit cards? They always extend it to a year, or some do an additional year, so you don't have to worry about the warranty.
And "used" battery? Really?
This is a good deal for a normally priced-fixed product.

One of the two Sansa refurbs I got had a bad battery pack. So yes, you can get a bad battery.

Winamp has worked drag and drop with my 3rd gen nano right out of the box, faster than itunes.

Yeah, winamp with the ml_ipod plugin (not the builtin) and now Songbird is good too.
