Calling them "refurbished" is misleading. These are used off-lease computers. Each one is at least a year old.

#1, No, these are computers that have been sent back under warranty and have been repaired with either used, or new parts and re-certified. Computers are usually leased for 3 years, not 1.

#2, you have described Dell OUTLET. Dell Refurbished is as #1 described. Not that's a bad thing. You can get the Lattitude line that is MUCH better built than any comparable $500 new piece of plastic you can find.
