Dell had a better deal ($360) back when they still carried this. I would wait on this - the new edition coming up is said to be an Android Phone/Tablet.
The Archos (5/7) is still plagued with bugs and customer support is still pretty crappy. They've gotten better with firmware releases, but it's still not at full potential (barely picked up HD support, still no flash 10 support). When it works, the tablet is awesome, but you encounter a glitch, you'll be ready to throw it away.

as #1 said, this device was as low as $360 from Dell before and so this is not a deal at all. just wait it out. it will drop again soon.

Too expensive.. I'd go for a laptop or mini pc.
