I think you meant a couple hundred yards. These are tested in Outer Space so in other wordbaconn a vacuum. Line of sight with no obstructions. Good luck in a real world environment.

Don't scoff ... plenty of entertainment here. One evening I was able to listen to the orders at a McDonald's drive-in window and a small plane whose pilot was asking for directions approaching the local airport in a snowstorm!
